How did William Wilburforce embody the quote by Gandhi about 'being the change you wish to see in the world?
From the very start he decide to start a movement to stop and abolish slavery in his home country. William did not wait for someone else to stand up and stop the slave traders , no he Dedicated his life to stop that cruelty , in his mind he knew that no one would ever stand up and help the slaves. In his hearth he had the courage to help them because they are human too. He became the change, he did not care how many years it took to achieve this goal but he did it he help abolish the slave trade from England.
